Our hotel is centrally located in Berlin Mitte. From here you can explore the city on foot. Most attractions are just around the corner and waiting for you!

Berlin is diverse, colourful and has many treasures for you! Most of the major attractions Berlin have to offer, you will find in the Berlin Mitte. This area is part of the historic town centre and thus shows you the historical and modern Berlin.

Berliner Fernsehturm bei Nacht nahe der LINDEMANN HOTELS® in BerlinGreat, you can discover Berlin Mitte afoot. Most attractions are very close together and a walk through our centre always pays off!

For example, you can sightsee the famous Alexanderplatz and the Fernsehturm (TV Tower). The Fernsehturm with its 368 meters height is one of our most famous landmarks. Next to, it stands the Rotes Rathaus (Red City Hall) and opposite you will find the Nikolaiviertel. There you should definitely stroll along. The little cute buildings form a complete contrast to the otherwise quite grey concrete buildings on Alexanderplatz. In Nikolaiviertel, you can go for a wonderful and tasty meal and enjoy a glass of wine. The atmosphere is just beautiful.

If you then continue walking towards the Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate), you will inevitably pass the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral). The Protestant church is the largest sacral building in the city and is a beautiful magnificent building. The Catholic counterpart is the St. Hedwig’s Cathedral. This is close to the Berliner Dom. It is placed at Bebelplatz near the Gendarmenmarkt and is architecturally inspired by the Pantheon in Rome.

If you are already at the Gendarmenmarkt, then take your time and watch this stunning place. This place is the most beautiful in Berlin and it really deserves this award. Maybe you drink a cup of coffee in one of the many cafes around the Gendarmenmarkt and just enjoy the beautiful ambience.

If you not feel like strolling but want some art and culture, then you should definitely visit the Museumsinsel (Museum Island). As the name suggests, several museums are located on an island in the river Spree, Berlin can be truly proud of it!

Theater and Shows

But Berlin Mitte also has no need to hide when it comes to theatre culture. Around our Hotel CALMA Berlin Mitte, the best theatres of the city are located. So you can decide by yourself whether you would like to see a performance at the Deutsches Theater, or want to enjoy a show at Friedrichstadt-Palast, or maybe you prefer a vaudeville at the Chameleon in the Hackescher Markt?

Berlin Mitte really shows you a varied portfolio of what your heart desires! Our hotel is an ideal starting point for your exploration tour! Have fun in the heart of Berlin!
