The Botanischer Garten and the Botanisches Museum (Botanical Garden and the Botanical Museum) are laid out spaciously and beautifully. For only 6 Euro admission, you can see the biodiversity of the flora. It does not matter if it is spring, summer, autumn or winter, since a variety of flowers bloom in the respective season.
In the different greenhouses, you can watch the fascinating flora of the tropics and subtropics. The Main Tropical Greenhouse is not only the symbol of the Botanischer Garten, but also an architectural masterpiece from the Jugendstil period. Here you can marvel at metres high giant bamboo, discover palms and lianas and watch a variety of exotic crop plants. This tropical greenhouse is the heart of the Botanischer Garten and is also one of the largest greenhouses in the world.
The Botanischer Garten invites you with its picturesque paths for long walks in this green oasis. Here you can relax while you get to know the nature and flora at the same time, because nature is always in season, no matter what current season is.
Now in autumn there is a suggested route. This runs through the entire Botanischer Garten and shows you in particular the current and most beautiful plants that autumn has to offer. Enjoy the smell, the colours and the beauty of autumn here at the Botanischer Garten.
Would you like to learn more about the flora then you can visit the Botanisches Museum for 2.50 € extra. It is worth it in any case.
