For the thirteenth time, InnoTrans will take place in Berlin on the Exhibition Grounds at the Funkturm in 2020. From 22.-25. September 2020 you can look around as a trade visitor at the world’s leading international trade fair for traffic technology. If you want to visit the fair privately, then the doors of the exhibition halls are open for you from 26.-27.09.2020.
InnoTrans is a very special trade fair. More than 3.000 exhibitors from 60 countries are exhibiting their latest innovations in the 41 halls of the Messe Berlin, thus offering around 160.000 visitors the opportunity to get information, ask questions and view the latest vehicles and developments on site.
InnoTrans is sub-divided into five segments. These five segments are Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. For better orientation, these areas are colour-coded. Thus, you can orient yourself at the fair well and can find easily the appropriate hall for your interest by using the site plan.
Mhhhhh …. Yummy!
Of course, InnoTrans will also take care of your well-being. First and foremost, of course, a rich breakfast is required to start the day properly. Our breakfast at the LINDEMANN HOTELS® is varied with a large selection and will certainly bring you well through the day. Do you prefer latte macchiato, cappuccino or an aromatic filter coffee? Why choose when you can have everything is our motto. That’s why all specialty coffees are included in the price, as are our home-made salads, spreads, a wide selection of fresh fruit and pastries.
I could go on and on forever, but I’m getting off topic right now. So back to InnoTrans …
In hall 53 as well as in the Oktoberfest tent under the radio tower, you can recharge your batteries during the day. How about a pork knuckle with sauerkraut and a Maß (a litre) of beer to strengthen?
Afterwards you could then go to the Outdoor Display. This highlight of the InnoTrans exhibits various vehicles on 3.500 metres of tracks. So you can see, for example, high-speed trains, hybrid locomotives, road-rail vehicles, trams and tank cars up close.
If you are more interested in passenger transport, then you should definitely stop by the new demonstration course in the heart of the fairgrounds. Since 2016 there is the Bus Display. Here manufacturers are offered a presentation area for buses and at the same time a 500-metre-long route on which the buses can also be driven.
You see, there is a lot to do at InnoTrans in Berlin. And if you are still unsure about how you would like to travel to Berlin, take a look here, if perhaps the cheap ticket of Deutsche Bahn or the discounted Lufthansa Group flights would not be for you.
Whirlpool? Nope, better!
Would you like to relax after your visit to the fair? Then our LINDEMANN’S with the room category “Urban Rooftop with Bathtub” not only offer a private terrace to relax. In this category you have a free-standing bathtub, which recharges your batteries for the next day in the evening. In our fjord hotel berlin we also have our own category, “Our Bathroom“. Again, you can relax on your very own roof terrace or relax inside in your free-standing bathtub, while you were watching your favourite series on Netflix.
We do not have a whirlpool in the room, but our bathtubs are nice and big, so you will not miss a whirlpool!
